A terrible tragedy struck the Twin Cities music scene over the weekend, as the son of local favorite Adam Levy passed away. Daniel J. Levy lived in New York but often traveled to Minnesota to be at his father’s gigs, and had recently created the stunning cover artwork on the debut album by Liminal Phase. He was a creative and talented artist and musician, and the loss of his life at such a young age is heartbreaking, especially as he comes from a family always so happy to support the community. Our hearts go out to his family.
Laura and I are especially heartbroken having ourselves lost a good friend to mental illness. The family obituary requests that donations be sent to Four Winds Saratoga, a mental health treatment facility in Saratoga, NY. We have decided to donate half of our sales from tomorrow, Wednesday the 18th, and hope you will come in to buy some records.
And tell your kids that you love them.
