I’m sure I’d be embarrassed if I knew how many times I have played this single from Tom T. Hall’s great Faster Horses album at my regular DJ gigs at the Turf Club. It’s just such a goooood song, and I really do like beer.

And today this little refrain is for my wife, Laura, who has her own regular DJ gig the third Wednesday of every month – You can hear her spin all kinds of sweet classic rock, country and soul at Harriet Brewing tonight from 8pm until they close up the tap room. While you’re there you can also try some delicious beer made just a short hop off Lake Street.
