A late entry

This summer we hosted a big party for Carlos Santana’s 64th birthday. Bitter Roots played a sweet set of Santana songs and customers colored in the jacket for Santana’s eponymous debut LP. The whole thing was inspired by a copy of the album that had been embellished by it’s owner, but it’s not over yet – Nearly every collection of classic rock includes a copy of Santana and once in a while we find another that has been decorated. Here’s this fall’s late entry:

You may be wondering what will be the subject of our next coloring contest. Neil Diamond’s Shilo? Neil Young’s Zuma? The “White album”? Presently, I am leaning towards an origami contest based on Jethro Tull’s Thick as a Brick. Time will tell….
