Could it be…?

No,this album didn’t belong to that favorite artist of rock n’ rollers, R. Crumb.  His real first name wasn’t Richard.  Just another ordinary Tower of Power album.  I just like thinking about the names I find on albums (and I’m thinking about having “from the library of …” stickers made with a hilarious fake name on them).

As for R. Crumb, he was also known as an serious 78 record collector.  He probably didn’t buy a lot of 33s in 1972 when Bump City came out, kickass n’ funky as it is.  Crumb was banjo player himself and that year he put out a 78!
